Suomi Areena

MIELI Without Borders is participating in Suomi Areena this year with the Psychological Practitioners of Finland (PPF) and SAMHA.
Suomi Areena is a concept that promotes the opportunity for every Finn to participate in the debate on social, economic and political issues. Suomi Areena raises important topics and ideas for the whole society. It is the largest societal discussion festival in Finland that happens every year.
This year, our panel discussion topic is, “Mental health for foreigners and foreigners for mental health,” and features some amazing speakers including two members of the Green Party (Vihreät), a an expert on migrant mental health from THL, and a moderator that is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion expert.
MIELI Without Border’s panel discussion will be the only one in all of the Suomi Areena program to be held in English. Yay!
For more details about the event and to see the speakers, you can find the program here.
