Mikkeli Crisis Centre offers a short-term (about 1 to 5 times) discussion assistance and support when you have faced difficulties and feel that there’s not enough strength to cope with everything alone. The starting point is always your own experience of how much support you need.
Our services are free of charge and anonymity is also possible. Our multi-professional group consists of trained experts of crisis aid. All the meetings and discussions respect your privacy.
Our client can be a person, a couple or even the whole family. There’s no need for referral. The reason to contact the crisis centre can be any possible thing in life, a thing which feels too difficult to process alone. Here are few examples:
- worries and stress in everyday life
- losing a close person
- traumatic experiences
- troubles in personal relationships
- relationships problems
- worries concerning children
- problems at work
- other difficult life situations
We offer discussion assistance face-to-face, by phone and on the Internet.
Our action is organization-based and it complements the net of public services.
The aim of assistance is to support your own survival and empowerment.
If needed, we guide you further.
